Hello! I am Nyawira Nyota a rising junior studying mechanical engineering and Spanish at NC State University. I am currently doing research with the Department of Mechanical Engineering at NC State and loving it! I also co-host a–pretty incredible if you ask me–podcast called ‘#PassTheMicYouth’, with two great friends Luke and Sam, where we give a platform to young activists to discuss their work. I am formerly the Programs Chair, and now just a proud member of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), as well as an ambassador for the office of Multicultural Student Affairs.
